2014 UnionDocs Collaborative Fellows Alexandra Lazarowich, Chloe Zimmerman, Elizabeth Warren, Daniel Wilson are presenting their film Álvaro at this year’s Northside Film Festival. A meditation on memory and perseverance, Álvaro follows 75-year-old South Williamsburg resident Álvaro Brandon on his daily route to feed 40 stray cats in his neighborhood. During the Northside DIY Film Competition submission process for short and feature films, cult film jury geniuses choose the work to be screened.
