Rooftop Films teams up with UnionDocs for Full Frame Doc Shorts & Neistat Brothers Sneak Preview

May 27th, 2010 by UnionDocs

Wednesday, June 2nd, UnionDocs co-presents along with IFP and the Bicycle Film Festival a Rooftop Films exclusive sneak preview of The Neistat Brothers, a genre-busting, eight-episode series consisting of experimental short films from the art-world brothers of the same name. They have been showing the hilarious and innovative short films by Casey and Van Neistat for years, and we hope you can all come out to celebrate the premiere of their new show with us along the water at Solar One.

There is no charge for admission, but you must RSVP to neistatrsvp@rooftopfilms.com to reserve your spot, and head to Solar One for complimentary Radeberger Pilsner, live music and the chance to meet and congratulate The Neistat Brothers in person.

The Neistat Brothers debuts Friday, June 4 (midnight-12:30 a.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, with other episodes debuting on subsequent Fridays at the same time. A mix of comedy and drama, each episode spans six weeks in the lives of Van and Casey Neistat (pronounced “nigh-stat”).

The next evening, Thursday June 3, UnionDocs will present a mix of fantastic documentary shorts featured in this year’s Full Frame Documentary Festival.  Happening at Brooklyn Tech, these shorts tackle Cambodian karaoke with a social message, Taiwanese mountain watchers, and the search for an elusive photograph of Jesus.  Rooftop is extending $8 tickets to the UnionDocs community if you enter the code ‘uniondocs’ when purchasing from this link.
