The Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective is currently holding an open call for potential new members. The BFC is a tight-knit community of professional filmmakers who are dedicated to mutual support. The collective comes together through weekly peer workshops to provide sustained feedback and critiques throughout the life of its members’ projects.
The BFC believes it should represent diverse voices. The collective has members with different backgrounds and perspectives, welcoming women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ community and others who identify with underrepresented groups. The BFC strives to have a diverse, comfortable, creative environment for everyone.
Any filmmakers aspiring to join this welcoming community of talented artists are invited to apply by August 14.
