Documentary filmmakers often risk life and limb to tell important stories of people in war-torn and impoverished places around the world. Examinations of social, cultural, or political situations pose the question, what is the extent a filmmaker will go in order to tell the story? Documentarians will discuss their own personal experiences that lie behind the real stories of the people and places told through their films. Find out what it’s like to be in the trenches and amoung perilous situations for the sake of creating important films that will impact audiences across the world.
