Ashley Panzera, a former UnionDocs Collaborative Fellow, recently picked up two Social Impact Media Awards for her directorial debut Noise Runs . She shares both the Best Director and Best Sound Editing honors with her co-director Kim Borba. The short, set in Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake, charts the foundation and spread of a radical newspaper, Bri Kouri Nouvèl Gaye.
