Blueprints for OulipoDocs

March 7th, 2010 by Shawn Wen

“An algorithm is a set of rules that, applied in a prescribed order to a set of data, produces a particular result, no matter what the data may be.”  –Francois Le Lionnais

Twelve (eleven) collaborators meet every week with Kara and Jesse.

“Melting snowball:  A text in which each word has one letter less than the preceding one, and the last word only one letter.”  (The letters are minutes.  The topic is selected by the first person up.)

“N+7:  replacing each noun with the seventh following it in a dictionary.”  (The dictionary entries are footsteps.  The text is a video.)

Palindromes.  Exquisite corpses.

OR we all do Robbie’s “My Week” project.
