Rooftop Films has long been an important member of the NYC film community, and now they need your support! Many know Rooftop Films for their extensive programming during their Summer Series, producing 45 outdoor screenings, but the Brooklyn-based non-profit does much more. Donors to their campaign will also be supporting the Rooftop Films Community Fund, which allows Rooftop to offer equipment and event production assistance at low rates and even free to artists, nonprofits, and community groups. These events include more than 50 additional, FREE, large scale partner events and dozens of other community happenings in locations throughout NYC. In addition, they offer the Rooftop Filmmakers’ Fund, which provides thousands of dollars in grants to promising filmmakers.
Between now and December 31st, Rooftop Films is looking for backers to help support these projects.
