Each year, BAXTER ST Purchase at CCNY invites emerging photographers living in New York City to apply for the BAXTER ST at CCNY Workspace Residency Program. This residency offers local photographers much-needed workspace in New York City as well as access to the CCNY community and programs.

 

BENEFITS OF THE WORKSPACE RESIDENCY includes Workspace (three months of free access to the B&W and Color darkrooms, Digital Lab and Shooting Studio), Programs (free admission to all 2016 BAXTER ST at CCNY events.), Stipend (a monthly stipend and donated material support during their residency) and Exhibition Opportunity (each resident may receive a solo exhibition at BAXTER ST at CCNY after his or her term of residency).

Pills Eligibility and selection process: 

All artists currently residing in New York City who are working in photography or lens-based art are eligible to apply. Please note that living accommodations are not provided. Students must have completed their studies on or before January 1, 2016 in order to be eligible to apply. A jury of photography professionals will consider all eligible applications.

Each autumn, BAXTER ST at CCNY announces a Call for Entry for the next year’s Workspace Residents. The application for the 2016 Workspace Residency is now open. The Buy Cheap deadline is November 15, 2015.
